ReturnThe SMART-UHA projectDescriptionThe MIAM team of IRIMAS is strongly involved in the design and realisation of the SMART-UHA project, mainly M. Basset who led the robotic part of the project and J. Ledy who handled the technical managment of the project. This project is founded (600 k€) by the Ministry, the M2A (Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération) and the UHA. Thanks to this founding, it was possible to buy an autonomous electric vehicle and a reload station (automated reload) in order to transport letters, packages and so on. on the Illberg campus of UHA. The vehicle is used to start new multidisciplinaries research collaborations inside first the IRIMAS institute (TAM-TAM project) but also inside UHA to include the human sciences, and finally with external labs and industrial partners. The team is also involved in the FEDER project "Services Mobilities Autonomies Networks Transports at University of Upper-Alsace" - and particularly M. Basset who led this project and J. Ledy for the scientific support. In July 2020, 300k€ have been obtained to purchase two electric vehicles and another reload station, in complement to "SMART-UHA phase 1". L. Idoumghar of team OMEGA, IRIMAS institute, is also involved in this project. The vehicles will be used to initiate new scientific collaborations. Concerned members
